Traveling can be expensive. We travel in a small RV and park for the night at rest areas, truck stops, and stores such as Walmart and  K - Mart.

We frequently park overnight at Walmart or other stores that allow "boondocking" as it is called. You can't put out your awning or lawn chairs, but they are safe places to stay for a night.
